MyRunCard is a simple service that allows runners to create and share a public profile page. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and how it is used.

2. Information we collect

When you create an account, we collect:

  • Email address

  • Display name

  • Public handle (your profile URL)

You may also choose to provide:

  • Profile photo

  • Bio

  • Location

  • Favourite distance and running preferences

  • Links to third-party services (parkrun, Strava, Garmin, Skool, website)

Your public profile page displays the information you choose to make visible.

3. How we use your information

We use your information to:

  • Create and display your MyRunCard profile

  • Allow you to edit and manage your profile

  • Send account activation and password reset emails

  • Notify you about important account-related updates

We do not sell your personal data.

4. Public information

Any information you add to your profile is publicly accessible via your profile URL.

You are responsible for the content you choose to make public.

5. Email communication

We send emails only for:

  • Account activation

  • Password reset

  • Important service-related messages

We do not send marketing emails at this time.

6. Data storage

Your data is stored securely on our hosting provider’s servers.

We take reasonable steps to protect your information, including password hashing and secure handling of uploaded images.

No system is completely secure, but we aim to apply sensible and appropriate safeguards.

Upon deletion, your public profile will be removed and your stored personal data will be deleted, except where retention is required for legal or operational reasons.

MyRunCard allows you to link to third-party services such as parkrun, Strava, Garmin, and Skool.

We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those services.

9. Children’s privacy

MyRunCard is intended for users aged 13 years and older.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.

If significant changes are made, we will update the “Last updated” date.
